In the past few weeks, we have started testing in-app advertising on Kami Basic users (free accounts). Basic users will notice an ad banner on the left-hand side of the screen without interrupting their Kami experience.
Our focus on every feature we develop is to make Kami a place where you can view, annotate, and share documents faster and more efficiently. Building Kami as a business will help us better serve the ever-growing Kami community while maintaining the feature-rich and beautiful app you know and love. We do not compromise with performance and service, and this is why Kami stands out from other apps available. As always, you own your documents and annotations. The introduction of advertising won’t change this. To support Kami and remove the ads on your Basic account, you can upgrade to the $2-per-month tier, or if you prefer to switch to a more advanced version of Kami, go to upgrade link.
